    Ok just a thought.

Given the world problem with plastics at sea why not lead the world and advertise your game as being the first to address the issue and bring players attention to this global problem?
While ships are catching fish or crustaceans why not allow the ships to actually help the environment by collecting plastic as they go about their work?
You could put in a building that would recycle the "goods" or if that's not possible just skip to having x amount of plastic appear in your inventory.
It could end up being really good advertising and PR bringing in more players.

I ran into a problem while doing the resources for the Trawler event. It's bad enough that you have to click an extra confirm button when using items.
If you click to use the time the extra box appears.
If you accidentally click to sell the item there is no second confirm box which makes no sense at all.
If you click to use the item you retain whatever it was. Once it is sold then you no longer have it. The second confirm box really should be there if anywhere at all.

I agree. As far as I saw one person reacted to say it was unacceptable and on tried to justify their right to say. It quickly died off.
@mr.yumfy You are absolutely right. They tend to be when schools are off and scriptkiddies (as they are often described) and soon go away when ignored.
I think what I have seen in the chat the older (time served) members react as they should but there are people that want to troll the troll and end up causing things to get out of hand.
It would be really nice if the chat could be self regulating with peer pressure and/or kid gloves from moderators. Your idea for a rewrite of the rules is a good direction to go. Then BigKat has to back it up.
I have played a lot of games and none of this is new. I've also moderated/admin on business and social fora. Laying down the rules in a concise and clear manner and then issuing a warning (not a threat) when the rules are being pushed allowing a time to account for lag or the "troll" (for want of a better word because it isn't all trolling) to have seen the warning. Then take action. Asking people if they are looking for a ban is totally out of order. I think we all agree that the moderators should have English as their first language and understand what is banter and what is personal attacks.
I will add that this forum should be promoted and also it has more interaction by admin/moderators. My own experience is that questions asked in here and answered will reduce tickets requesting help and when someone gives bad information it can be clarified.
I once saw a user ask in chat about extra mods to ships and got told that for 10 gold they could receive another batch of 38 updates on top of the normal 38. I saw it some hours after it had been said and it would be too time consuming to try to put it right without naming the person and it appearing to be an attack on that person. Hey ho! Let's hope we can get it all working nicely. For a game that requires communications between players I find it very difficult to do that due to the chat limitations.

I've been thinking about this as well for some time and was going to suggest that ALL items are available in both gold and credits so we can buy what we need rather than waste time waiting for random goods. A simple table should be easy to place on the page and I am sure people would spend more credits and gold if they had a full choice 24/7.

    Greetings,
It has become completely annoying and way to time consuming to use stacks of collected items such as Jerry Cans, Tool Boxes and other consumables.
How about the ability to use either a SLIDER BAR or an ENTERED AMOUNT such as in the market for how many of a stack of theses items I wish to use.
3 clicks per item when I have a stack of 30 of the same size (lets say)Mechanics Tool Boxes is just plain silly.
Would be much more efficient and fun if I could just set the number of how many from that stack I wish to consume and then click USE or SELL.
Let us hope something of this nature is coming to us in the VERY near future.

    Greetings fellow fishing persons:
I would like to address this issue from a players point of  view
These types of accounts have always came in chats in all games world wide , here in big bait we the players need to moderate our-selves 1st and others second , now having.said that.
The actions that could be taken by us the players when a account such as the one @Wanderer and @hubris  observed and mentioned in post are and not limited to but include
    1. Ignore the account
    2. Do screen shots of the chat and send them off to support.
    3. Notify a mod . ( yes i know not at this time, but am very sure this will be an option in the immediate future)
    4. Post a request for staff to visit the chat via shout box
    5. Bring it to the attention of the staff via forum post.
There is no real cure for this problem but only attempting to limit it by the above player actions as well as getting behind our mods and supporting them
    Fish on Dudes

Thanks @Hubris My point on the new players signing up to troll was eloquently made by a Level 2 player that entered chat and proclaimed "All n****** should be hung" With a name like "Ladyfaggot" it sticks out like a sore thumb. All chat needs to be removed from that account or at least echo what they send back to their own chat window but it doesn't appear in the real chat. They think no one is biting and soon get bored.

Wanderer got a reaction from Shytalk in Buying gold vouchers
I had the same problem. There are a lot of players that cannot afford gold bars due to the Financial state of their Countries.
I tried to buy a voucher and ticked the box. I ended up with the gold myself.
In other games there is the ability to transfer paid for items (gold bars or whatever is used) to other players from your account to theirs. It is done through support tickets so support would need to be on the ball in dealing with them. Or fix the voucher problem.

Wanderer got a reaction from Shytalk in Ships Idle warning flag/icon
Bear in mind that the zzz's and the amount of trips left are still broken. I no longer scan through the number of trips left by looking at the ship images. I click on the ships and use the info in there. I've had a lot of ships appearing to still be working when they are idle.
It should be easy enough to allow the images to be smaller to allow 8 to 10 ships on the screen instead of just 5. Your best ships tend to be on the second screen. Maybe use percentage instead of a fixed pixel size. The number of ships displayed could also alter should the map or chat be closed down.

Can the current level of each member of a company be shown in the HQ member tab so you don't have to search the rankings for your company to see them, please?

Suggestion: Can we please have the Fish Factory History changed to a simple table showing which member has produced in the factory with the latest date of production and their production average for the week. This will save us having to scroll through many pages of history trying to find out who is/is not producing. At the moment this is a tedious task taking up a lot of precious time better spent playing the game.

Wanderer got a reaction from Shytalk in Feedback - Patch 10 January 2017
    Hi Chrischan,
I feel a sledgehammer has been used to crack a nut or that you've used the easiest bit of code to sort the problem of changing companies during the trawler events.
It should have been simplified to stop a player returning to the company they originally left by putting a 60 limit on that happening.
If someone leaves company A. As soon as they join company B then there is a 60 day period before they can return to company A.
If, as we assume, trawler events are monthly, this mean they miss at least one trawler event with their favoured company.
Trawler events are a good recruitment tool and this will not be the case if players recruited after the event has already started are excluded from doing work on the trawler.

We could also do with the ability to send longer messages. When you are trying to send out information to the members it looks ridiculous if you hit the buffer and have to carry on typing in a second or third message. Communications are already troublesome without using external applications to discuss matters. Also if a Company is very active regarding assignments then the notifications soon puch the important info down the page to where members may not scroll down.

Can I suggest that a facility be made to enable the company leadership to be able to have a "leaders Circular" or some such thing so that leadership discussions can be held without having to do single PMs to all and single replies to individuals. The ability to "Reply to all" would be of great benefit as well and enable discussions and company decisions to be carried out much more efficiently. The Chair could have the ability to decide which of his team would be included in a leadership discussion and the Leaders Circular or whatever.

Agreed. Perhaps some animation as well - like if your roads connect to the warehouse(s) and the main road then it would be good to have the trucks arrive and depart randomly as if we were actually producing and selling. A truck could set off on a journey when the company sells some of it stock?
