I'll run BB2 on a desktop with win10 and have the same problem.
Also like to note that this update is worthless as the dev. didn't count in that many companies like mine is filled with players from over the world (meaning we play at different timezones)
Half of my companie is western european time +1 while the other half is from Down under so we never can, compete or win the desired rewards as there is always one half to sleep.
 
I refuse to sack the members from down under from my companie  as during time,  even we live on different timezone we developêd a strong band of friendship.
So for companies like mine ( and i'm pretty sure there are many more out here) ,, this new fish reloading site is a waste of time and is absolute a non fun factor.

Is it possible to have separate areas for BB1 and BB2 discussions. The rules and workings of the games are very different and a response where the person thought the OP was discussing BB1 when they were discussing BB2 can be quite confusing. BB2 is another game with different mechanics and on screen items.
It's not too difficult to do this in the forum software.

Oh and once that is done why not promote the forum in both of the games. I've seen some very dangerous and costly advice given out by so called know it alls in the in game general chats

I don't know about other players but as a Company Chair I would like to be able to see company ships on the world map.  I understand that it is confusing for some to see that many ships but I enjoyed being able to see the ships other then my own (kind of boring and lonely).  I also understand the pulling nets and the motivation which are very handy but I would like to see Company Ships.  How many of you miss seeing Company Ships on the World Map??

1) Have a look in your HQ. Make sure the setting "Production" is set to "Yes" in order to be able to start a production.
The option makes it comfortable to stop any production before a factory upgrade.
2) Check your storage for the necessary fishes.

I am going to poke the bear here again , i understand that what is made in the ff, and what is used in the pa as well as sold can be tracked by the chair or reps,  However there is  no way to see what players in a company are helping or NOT with the fish reloading site , as a past chair and current rep and active member of a company i would highly value being able to see who partakes and who is just riding the tails of the other hard working members .  
like this post if you agree maybe if it shows enough activity it will get noticed 

May I suggest that players be allowed to choose what raw materials they can produce rather than the current 3-way split? Lower level and new players who are always short of raw materials could then choose to produce, say, only wood, only metal or only plastics to help them produce more in their company fish factories.

We could also do with the ability to send longer messages. When you are trying to send out information to the members it looks ridiculous if you hit the buffer and have to carry on typing in a second or third message. Communications are already troublesome without using external applications to discuss matters. Also if a Company is very active regarding assignments then the notifications soon puch the important info down the page to where members may not scroll down.
 

Absolutely brilliant answer LeMatz. I don't know if someone removed that tile but it isn't there anymore. In and out of build mode now with no problem. I also moved a couple of items to check and all's well. I am back testing in Chrome to see if the Company buildings stop working. I can only hope that is cured.

Maybe a help:
sometimes the ingame GUI gets buggy when the browser zoomed in / out. There are two kinds of zoom; the browser itself can zoom a webpage, visible ingame in form of modified GUI elements, and the game zoom which doesn't affect the GUI. Make sure your browser did not zoom the page (mostly via hotkey [CTRL] + [0] or via browser menu)  have a look for red areas when switching in your building mode; there was a road tile on your map that made it outside the build area. I'm not sure if that matters for the building mode itself but at least when you exit it there will be an error

I have encountered a number of problems over the last few days. The number of routes on ships has been static and not changing. Also when looking for a fishing ground and checking the percentages, the percentages have been wrong, they are outdated from earlier in the day and showing they change at 11am. As it happens after say 1pm it is plainly wrong and hasn't updated at 11am.
I got caught once by it and was ready to launch 4 ships when I realised that the percentages weren't what was displayed.
Obviously this is vital when calculating where to fish for assignments.

It is actually the way it is because the list when translated to german is in alphabetical order.
 

The surveys were very useful but it was a shame that only one could be run at one time. When a company is looking for a series of views at one time. This would have allowed the process to take a day or two as opposed to well over a week.
I think they should be brought back in an enhanced format.

Excellent point. Please don't dismiss it on privacy grounds. It's the names of virtual companies that a virtual player name has joined and left. Nice quick database lookup if the tables are there. If not add them and the history starts from now.
Add to that a box for text when people request to join. It must not be optional. So the application won't complete without it.
Yes people can type gobbledegook but they don't pass go and do not collect £200

Can I suggest that, when non-newbies apply to join a company, that a "previous history" of companies they have been with is displayed? This way we could contact previous companies for a reference and reduce the number of dead weights we allow in and then have to kick out for not contributing to the team. Thanks.

I tend to be slow sometimes . i am just now noticing that in the Office under the shop tabs you can find everything from matts to experience,
So if all of that has a price Ie.. especially experience ,then why not the one item that is missing " Prestige" i am pretty sure some would like to buy their-selves to the top or be able to help buy their way there. bragging rights are important to some.
